About Puskasoturit ry

Puskasoturit ry is a disc golf club located in Espoo, Southern Finland.
Our mission is to maintain and grow the sport in Espoo and to provide both members and non-members with activities and competitions throughout the year.

Activities

Weeklies

We arrange weekly competitions (weeklies) on several courses in Espoo: Oittaa Kalliometsä, Puolarmaari and Äijänpelto.

The weeklies are open to all players. No club membership is required. You need a Disc Golf Metrix (Metrix) account, which is free.

The weeklies are a fun, easy and inexpensive way to get yourself familiar with how it feels to compete in disc golf. We follow official rules but we tend to keep it relaxed. The weeklies are also a very good way to get to know other disc golfers and meet new friends.

Occasionally we also arrange doubles competitions.

During the dark times (any time other than summer), we might also arrange LED competitions (during which we attach LEDs on top of the baskets and throw glowing discs).

male (member of Puskasoturit): 3€

male (not a member): 4€
female or junior (member of Puskasoturit): 2€
female or junior (not a member): 3€

Mobilepay is used for payment.

Youth activities

Field training

We arrange weekly field practise events for youths under the age of 18. The practice events are open for all, both members and non-members.

Guided disc golf activities

For those, who prefer playing casual rounds with people of same age, we occasionally gather together for a couple of rounds of disc golf on courses suitable for younger players and newcomers.

Senior activities

From time to time, we arrange activities for seniors, where we gather together to play a few rounds of disc golf. We help with disc selections and teach putting and throwing techniques.

No prior experience in disc golf is needed. You don’t need your own discs. You can borrow discs from us.
